TRANSITION HAIR: fall styles to wear NOW!

Can you believe it?  We're cruising through another incredible summer, but fall's fashions have already been unveiled on catwalks around the world.  We've been seeing some seriously amazing autumn trends that work right now as well.  Update your style with something that will carry your coif courageously into the cooler weather; it doesn't take much!  Read on for some of my favorite transitional trends!

THE FRINGE:

Personally, I'm always a fan of some fabulous fringe.  It's one of the easiest and least committal ways to spruce up your style, and this fall its all about framing that beautiful face of yours.  And be bold!  The most current way to wear fringe is heavy and rounded, as seen on the runways of Marni, Elie Saab, and Kate Spade.  So haute.

THE SHORT HAIRCUT:

This cut has been EVERYWHERE lately, and with good reason!  This short and soft crop is so easy to wear, and is universally flattering!  The shape follows the roundness of the head, and can be worn a million and one ways. Talk to your pro about what works best for you.  GORGEOUS!

THE STYLE:

Sleek, slick, and smooth is the name of the styling game next season.  Not looking to rid your self of length?  STYLE IT, my dear! Go for understated glam with glossy locks; works on all lengths from short to long, and can even be incorporated with a ponytail!  With lower humidity on the way, this style is a welcome contrast to the summer's relaxed texture.

I would like to talk about a company called Miinto. I had recently been contacted by their marketing manager (He loved my blogging).


 I researched the company, and seeing as I love to wear stylist and comfortable clothing, I looked them up. I recently learned from the marketing manager that Miinto.com likes to keep their networking between them and other small or independent businesses/companies. They seem very independent themselves!

CELEBS, THE QUEEN, AND FASHION 2012

Despite a soggy start, 1.2 million people flocked to the capital for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee, and the Royal family did not disappoint with their choice of attire. The Queen wore a Swarovski-studded coat dress by in-house couturier Angela Kelly, whilst Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge wore a red Alexander McQueen dress for the boat parade along the Thames. On Monday night, Cheryl Cole, Kylie Minogue, Jessie J and Grace Jones were just some of the acts that took part in the Jubilee concert - see what everyone wore to the weekend of events in the gallery below.

Earlier this week, the stars flocked to London's Southbank for the BAFTA British Academy Television Awards. Melissa George was our favourite look on the patriotic red, white and blue carpet, wearing an oriental-inspired Armani Prive dress, whilst award-winners Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby wore summery vintage and Jenny Packham gowns.
