SYNGERY KOMBUCHA... THE POWER DRINK!

Kombucha is a fermented tea that is often drunk for medicinal purposes.

There is limited scientific information supporting any health benefit and few studies are being conducted, although there are several centuries of anecdotal accounts supporting some of the health benefits attributed to the tea.

Kombucha is available commercially and can be made at home by fermenting tea using a visible, solid mass of yeast and bacteria which forms the kombucha culture which is often referred to as the "mushroom" or the "mother".

Personally, I love this drink.. I usually drink about two a week and I always feel great!

**This drink has a unique blend or proprietary probiotics and powerful antioxidants and is only 30 calories!

Ms. & Mrs. Minimergency Kit For Her: Brides to be, Listen up

Though it looks sizable in the picture, the Ms. & Mrs. Minimergency Kit is actually only 3.5" x 2" x 2", but don't let its size fool you, this little guy packs a punch. This is a 16 piece -cover all bases, don't worry I've got that, can survive any beauty disaster- all inclusive kit that will fix everything from a headache to a rip in your dress. It is TSA-compliant so no worries of having it snatched at security, and it can give piece of mind when going on a trip or, if during a big event, like oh say, a wedding.
I have been in my fair share of weddings and let me tell you, if something is going to go wrong, it will right before you walk down the isle. A bridesmaid will get a run in her stocking or someone will forget to pack a tampon, or someone will have a bra strap showing (and the list goes on). Regardless of how much you practice, plan and prepare, something is going to come up. That is why I am recommending all brides to consider giving this little guy along with your bridesmaid gifts. Not only will it ensure smooth sailing for the hiccups before the big event, but afterwards, they can pack it in their purse for their own use.
Best part? It's $13 at Sephora. Affordable, useful and even comes in a cute gold or silver bag to boot; this is a great little gift for every girl you know.

Healthy Hair SOS
Forget the miracle shampoos that claim to fix any problems you have with your hair- a better diet is the cheapest and most efficient way to tame your tresses

The quality of the hair on your head depends on the circulation to hair roots and the amount of nutrients present in your body to feed your hair.  Here are the top five hair problems- and how to treat them.

1. Slow growing or Loss of color
This could be due to a zinc deficiency.  Avoid sugar and refined carbohydrates, as these deplete zinc in the body.

2.  Greasy Hair
This can be a sign of vitamin B deficiency.  Vitamin B2 is the most important vitamin to help greasy hair; you can get it through fish, milk, eggs, and leafy green vegetables.

3.  Hair Loss
Stress, hormonal imbalance, a nutrient deficiency, or an underactive thyroid can cause hair loss.  Supply the building blocks for hair by increasing your intake of protein and iron each day.

4.  Dandruff
This often occurs when the diet is too high in saturated fats, causing oil secretions from the scalp that can get clogged in the skin.  Stop eating junk food and saturated fats.

5.
Dry and Brittle
This type of hair can be a sign of essential fatty acid deficiency.  Add flax seed oil, nuts, seeds, and oily fish to your diet

Stylish Starlets Front Row at Miu Miu

Going from the Academy Awards to Paris Fashion Week makes for an exciting few days. Several style editors and experts fly from the West Coast to the City of Lights and this year Oscar nominees Hailee Steinfeld andJennifer Lawrence made the same trek. The excited duo sat from row at the Miu Miu Fall 2011 show this morning alongside fellow actresses Ginnifer Goodwin and Mila Kunis. Young Hollywood has long embraced the brand and these fresh faces added a jolt of star wattage to the season.
Red seems to be Lawrence’s power color. After garnering raved reviews for her crimson Calvin Klein Oscar gown, Lawrence opted for a Miu Miu red irisé silk puff sleeve dress with a black leather narrow belt, black duchesse pumps, and a black and white printed wristlet clutch. Steinfeld wore a soft blush pink silk long sleeve dress with an ivory volant collar and a leopard print clutch. Vogue’s André Leon Talley seemed intrigued by the young actress; can we expect a Steinfeld sighting in his next “Life With André ” column?
Kunis and Goodwin represented the divine dark side. The duo embraced the twist on the little black dress–the former chose a v-neck with silver embroidery, while the latter rocked an edgier look in a cady shoulder-accented sleeveless dress.
