ConAir Bun-Maker: Hot Buns

Finally, an easy way to make that beautiful ballerina bun every girl wants - even if you don't have enough hair to pull it off!
The ConairBun Maker comes with a loofa-looking donut, a ponytail holder, and four pins to achieve the perfect coif!
1.You just put your hair in a ponytail wherever you want the bun to be (the top ballerina is the current look)
2. pull it through the donut hole and wrap it around the donut; then pin the ends - making sure one end of the pin goes into the donut and the other end goes in your hair at the scalp.
3.You need to spread your hair around the donut so none of it is showing, and use the remaining pins to secure it, getting one pin on each side of the bun. If have a ton of hair you can adequately spread it around the donut to cover it entirely.
4. But if you have thin, blonde hair it might be a bit tricky since the illusion is lost if any of the brown donut is showing (no blonde donut?).
*If you have thin hair you will need to do it in sections instead of wrapping the entire ponytail around it all at once. This will give a looser bun.
5. Once the pins are secured you can play and move your hair around. I also don't brush my hair back perfectly slick on the scalp - It can be a bit messy, otherwise it looks too severe.

Check out Kate Bosworth's neat and tidy top knot and Sienna Miller's messy updo for hot bun inspiration. At Ulta Beauty for $4.99.

The Perfect Collection for Your Big Day

There are a lot of things that brides worry about leading up to the ceremony and what makeup you'll be wearing shouldn't be one of them. This is a collection of the must-have essentials makes it easy for you on your wedding day!

TOO FACED The Blushing Bride Beauty Collection

  • The Blushing Bride Beauty Collection (<~~click on link) includes Romantic Eye Classic Beauty Eye Shadow Collection, Lash Injection Mascara, Beauty Insurance Kit (includes 3 best-selling primers), Glamour Gloss and a Look of Love Makeup Bag. ($60)

MAC Surf, Baby! Studio Careblend/Pressed Powder and Skinsheen Bronzer Stick: Hang Ten

A popular thing about MAC's new assortment of bronzers is the surfboard-inspired packaging that exudes pure summer. Very Malibu Skipper, very hanging at the tiki bar!
Luckily, sometimes you can judge a book by its cover. If you want a face fit for summer, MAC's limited edition Surf, Baby! line delivers. Don't let the name "pressed powder" fool you; this compact contains a simple matte bronzer ($28) (but it is formulated to blend easily with powder and other face makeup). The paler shade, "Gold-go-Lightly" is perfect if you are still establishing your deeper hue and will deliver light coverage and an instant tan. "Lush-Light Bronze," on the other hand, is better for darker tones and if you're not, this might be your shade come mid-July.

Craving another layer of glow? Top off your powder bronzer with a creamy bronzer stick ($29.50). Skinsheen is designed to add depth and contour, and it isn't shimmery like many other formulas. Use it modestly and be sure to put in overtime when it comes to blending - even the lightest color, "Tan-Tint" is super-brown, so beware of funky streaks.
Without a hint of unnatural glimmer or sparkle, MAC's new bronzers bring a kiss of sun to your face for an all-natural-looking tan.

PH BALANCED EFFECTIVE HAIRCARE

I've been trying this new Ph balanced haircare line at my salon and I absolutely fell in love!
I have been using it on ALL of my clients's hair and have been seeing instant results.

I know it sounds crazy and there are so many product lines out there, but I love that Soma is truely Ph balanced (I checked with litmus paper) so it is safe on any hair type and hair with color or any other chemical on it.

The clarifying and Moisture shampoo are my favorites. I also enjoy that every product is light and pliable, none of them are greasy, too heavy, smell bad, or leave ANY residue!

You cannot get Soma in the drug stores.
Kim Kardashian loves this haircare line!

***If you would like to come see me for a $30 blowdry, or a $40-55 blowdry and style using Soma, call Salon Heaven at 312-753-5444. I work there Tuesday-Sunday 10-6!

SHOP FOR GROCERIES WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK!

http://www.cityfreshmarket.com/
This market has all the best organic foods that are cheaper in price than WholeFoods.
What some people don't realize, is it's not the name of the place where you shop, it's the quality and their prices.
Why should you have to spend $8 on a tomato? Really? Does it sing and dance?
I shop here a lot (have to admit, I also shop at Dominicks) but they have very good prices and their food? YUM!
Check them out!

HUMIDITY-PROOF HAIR!

One of the best ways to beat humidity causing frizz and unmanageable hair, is with a Keratin smoothing treatment.  Origianally Created in Brazil, where natural curls and humidity are the norm, the Keratin smoothing treatment provided a much needed solution allowing easy, worry free, manageable hair for up to 4 months!
As an experienced hair stylist, I am incredibly impressed with the product results and my clients love having smooth, shiny hair without hours smoothing and blow drying each day.
One of these Keratin Treatments (which I don't use) called the Brazilian Blowout, had controversy of hurting stylist and client's eyes. This only occurs when the stylist is using too much product and the salon is not properly ventilized. I can assure you, I've been in a Brazilian Blowout salon in Florida. Ten stylists were doing the treatment on their clients (including myself) and not one time did i smell or see smoke. They were using it the right way!
I use the Salon Tech Keratin Treatment. This treatment does not have formeldahyde in it.

I also use Amazon Series Cysteine Complex Curl Softening Treatment which I have in my hair and love! This also lasts four months.

I always give $200-250 Keratin treatments. Most salons in Chicago charge $300. (the price does not change the quality of this treatment). If you would like to schedule your free consultation and/or appointment please do via emailFacebook,Twitter,  or call 773.683.8635.

SELENA UNDER PRESSURE WITH JUSTIN BIEBER ROMANCE

Selena Gomez -19 years old - admits the pressures of being Justin Bieber‘s girlfriend is starting to get to her.
The singer and actress says despite her own past as a teen favorite she struggles to cope with the attention lavished on her pop prince. ”
It’s crazy,” says Selena. “Sometimes I get overwhelmed and kind of have a bad day with it because it is so crazy.
“But I have had this since I was 15 so I know you just have to keep your head down and not give these people what they want but sometimes it does get to you.”
Selena recently admitted that she doesn’t like “hiding” her relationship with Bieber.

“I don’t like hiding. I do like to keep certain things to myself, but at the end of the day, I’m 18, and I’m going to fall in love,” she said. “I’m going to hang out with people, and I’m going to explore myself, and I’m OK with that.”

Eva La Rue Returning to "All My Children"!

Love this!
I also loved this women in CSI. I am obsessed with that show, as well as All My Children.

With cancellation imminent, the stars are flocking back to 'All My Children.' The latest? 'CSI: Miami' star Eva La Rue.

According to
TV Guide, La Rue will return to Pine Valley as Dr. Maria Santos Grey this July. La Rue joined the show in 1993, left in 1997, returned in 2002 and then left in 2005. The actress recently stopped by the soap in 2010 to celebrate the show's 40th anniversary.

Besides La Rue, Josh Duhamel, whose character, Leo du Pres, is "dead" on 'All My Children,'(tragic)
will return for at least one episode.
Duhamel's Leo was last seen plummeting to his death in a waterfall accident. (Some of my clients love this show and have been very helpful sources for this article!) However, his body was never found.

Look for Duhamel in August, with another episode possible before the September series finale.

Thorsten Kaye and Cady McClain are also returning to the soap.

The TV Guide report indicates many other stars may be booking return trips to Pine Valley to pay homage to the series that gave them their big break. Could Melissa Leo and Sarah Michelle Gellar be waiting in the wings?

ABC is replacing 'All My Children' with 'The Chew,' a one-hour food/lifestyle program.

Tell Me: Do you want more stars to return to the soap?

Human Barbie' Sarah Burge Gives 7-Year-Old Daughter Breast Implant Voucher

Step aside, Botox Mom. There's another candidate for parenting award of the year.
"Human Barbie" Sarah Burge gave her daughter Poppy a $10,000 voucher for breast augmentation surgery for her seventh birthday.
Sarah explained, "Poppy begged me for a boob job, so I gave her the voucher so she can have it after she's 16, when it's legal. If she develops naturally big boobs, she can have something else done with it." Sounds like a reasonable, open-ended gift. Poppy, for her part, said, "I can't wait to be like Mummy with big boobs. They're pretty."

Poppy also received a computer, pink Swarovski crystal ring and matching necklace and a spa weekend from her mother.
The 50-year-old has supposedly dropped more than $800,000 on her own plastic surgeries and plans to have her daughter watch her next series of treatments, slated for later this year. Burge remarked, "I want Poppy to see what will happen. Some people think it's controversial and I get angry when strangers say I'm a bad mother because I don't think there's any harm in giving her this gift."

She added, "Poppy is a normal kid who is good at sports and loves playing outside. Girls don't want Snow White and Cinderella any more....I'm just supporting her and making her dreams come true."
And, really, isn't that all a mother can do?
