Summer Love! Great Styles for Spring & Summer 2011

Break-up your outdated winter hair blahs and checkout these love at first sight spring and summer looks!

Glamour, Spring’s 5 Best New Hair Looks
Soft waves are one of my favorite looks for Spring!
Whether you want soft waves, swingy and straight, or the messy look, the keys to having great hair this summer are strong, healthy, manageable hair. Getting the long looks featured in Glamour Magazine’s Spring’s 5 Best New Hair Looks is easy regardless of your current hair length and condition.
Glamour, Spring's 5 Best New Hair Looks
Swingy and straight with a center part.
If you’ve ever wondered how movie stars will be seen on the red carpet with a short bob style cut and the next day with long flowing waves, think extensions.  Extensions are a great way to go from short to long or filling in thin hair for achieving the long, glamour goddess looks.
After the long harsh winter, most of us suffer from dry dead ends making this the perfect time for a trim and a professional conditioning treatment, if not a whole new cut and color. Unruly curls and waves, as well as damaged and frizzy hair benefit greatly from Keratin smoothing treatments. Keratin Smoothing offers the same porous cuticle sealing effects that add shine and strength, as well as manageability, lasting up to four months.

Hilary Swank's sun-kissed look
Wondering what to do about color?  Dip-Dyeing is an A-list favorite this summer.  Remember how your hair looked at the end of each summer when you were growing up?  Gradual lightening to the ends is a great way to achieve that natural, sun-kissed look, like Hilary Swank at the SAG Awards.  If this color change seems a bit to dramatic, try a more subtle color on the ends and add highlights.

Rihanna Chosen As New Face Of Vita Coco

She’s all about keeping a healthy physique, so it’s no wonder Rihanna has been picked as the new face of Vita Coco.
The red-headed “S&M” chick posed for pictures on the beach awhile back clad in a gorgeous white get-up for the upcoming ads promoting the nutritious drink.

Madonna has welcomed Rihanna into the Vita Coco campaigning family! This summer she will be the new face for the beverage which is a best seller and one of the fastest growing brands in the U.S..
Rihanna is a natural fit for the Vita Coco brand and I’m so happy to have her on the team” says Madonna.
“I love Vita Coco! It’s real coconut water from hand-picked coconuts.  It’s delicious and so good for you!” says Rihanna.
Will you be sipping Vita Coco this summer just like Rihanna and Madonna?

SCARLETT JOHANSSON REVEALS NEW RED HAIR

Scarlett is her name and so is her mane.

The 26-year-old actress made a ravishing appearance at the White House Correspondents' Dinner in Washington, D.C. in a new red hair color. Johansson's ruby red locks were center-parted and styled in atousled bob.

She accentuated her electric 'do with burgundy eye shadow, blush and berry lip gloss, as well as an eye-catching Chopard diamond necklace.

Red is a familiar hair hue to the Dolce & Gabbana cosmetics spokesmodel. I know we all remember the star wearing the color while hitting the promo circuit for the 2002 horror film "Eight Legged Freaks," and then again in 2009 as the Black Widow in "Iron Man 2."

And with Johansson set to revive her role as the Black Widow in "The Avengers," I may have discovered the reason behind her bold new look.

What do you think of Scarlett Johansson's red hair?
